Survival Island Minecraft

Fancy feeling like Tom Hanks in castaway? This Minecraft map makes you feel just that!

It is exactly what you think it is, an island which you need to survive on. Set yourself challenges by having to build 30 brick high houses with 20 or 30 windows in. Try and get yourself a cactus farm or tree farm underground.

In the survival island you need to well… survive of course, but it is a lot more difficult when you have very limited resources. Some of the things you take for granted on other survival maps will not be so readily available on the deserted island. Take care of any wood you find, it will be needed in the future.

Any saplings and seeds you find must be cherished as these are extremely useful for maintaining a life on the island.

There are a couple of rules you should adhere to as these make the map a lot more interesting.

• Difficulty Level should be atleast normal
• Do not leave the island
• No hacking of course
• Share your Survival Island Experience
• Enjoy it!

• Unzip the contents to your .minecraft saves folder
• Open up Minecraft and you can now play the Survival Map

• Use bonemeal on grass
• Use everything to its fullest
• Setup automation where possible
• Setting as much farming as possible

Minecraft Survival Island Seeds

Some people like to use seeds rather than download the specific Survival Island map, but that is not as good as using the specifically created map. If you did want to try a seed, then a couple of these seeds will give you the opportunity to play a similar map.

Some Brief Info

Survival island will allow you to feel the panic in being on an island, whilst being able to quit the game yes, but it can get very tense at times on the island. I tend to burrow down as soon as possible on this island, but the thing to be careful about is that at any time you might destroy the wrong sand block and get yourself stuck on an island where everything is flooded.

No resources is a big deal in Minecraft, especially on this map. I have played this map many times before and I keep going back to it, I don’t know why but it is so addictive!
